SerenTao ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the SerenTao mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

SerenTao is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
• Account credentials (the App has no login or account system)
• Location data
• Contacts or address book data
• Photos, videos, or microphone recordings
• Device identifiers for advertising (IDFA)
• Browsing history or search queries

2. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

All data generated by your use of the App remains exclusively on your device. This includes:

• App preferences — your selected meditation duration, theme preference, and whether onboarding has been completed. These are stored using Apple's UserDefaults system and never leave your device.
• Meditation session records — if you choose to enable Apple Health integration, mindful minutes are written to Apple Health via HealthKit. SerenTao does not read, store, or transmit any Health data independently; all Health data remains under Apple's privacy framework.

3. Third-Party Services

SerenTao does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, advertising networks, or crash reporting tools. The App contains:

• No third-party analytics or tracking
• No advertising or ad mediation
• No social media login integrations
• No push notification services (notifications, if enabled, use Apple's native local notification API and are processed entirely on-device)

4. Third-Party Tracking

We do not engage in any form of cross-app, cross-website, or third-party tracking. We do not use any tracking domains. The App does not request permission to track via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework because no tracking occurs.

5. Children's Privacy

SerenTao does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App is safe for all ages.

6. Your Rights

Since SerenTao does not collect or store your personal data, there is no data to access, rectify, delete, or export. If you have any questions about this, please contact us using the information below.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA respectively. Because we process zero personal data, these rights are inherently satisfied — there is simply no personal data to act upon.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
